About Elite Summer Soccer Camp in the Basque Country
The Elite Summer Soccer Camp in the Basque Country is run by Division 1 soccer coaches from the Basque region of Spain. Renowned for its gastronomy, breathtaking landscapes and unique language and culture, the Basque Country is also home to a strong soccer culture and soccer teams that compete in the top division of the Spanish soccer system. Participants have an opportunity to spend a great summer, improve their soccer skills and explore the Basque Country.
The camp focuses on the following:
Conditioning: Improving basic physical capabilities by emphasizing work on psychomotor skills and strength.
Technical skills: Improving the individual technical abilities of the athletes, emphasizing aspects as driving, dribbling, control or shooting.
Tactical skills: Developing tactical capacity through open tasks that promote the relationship between athletes to achieve a greater understanding of the game.
Mental skills: Working on the mental strength and motivation of athletes, making them protagonists of their own learning process.
During the week, there will be complementary activities, such as visits to the beaches of Bakio, Sopelana or Plentzia, the natural environment of Urdaibai and hiking activities in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
Coaches:
Coaches are accredited by the Spanish Football Federation, UEFA. All coaches speak Spanish and English.
