Soccer Scouting for Sporting CP Youth Academy

For Cristiano Ronaldo, it all started with a trial at Sporting CP at age 12. Impressed with his potential, the Sporting Youth Academy signed him for a fee of £1,500 and he moved from the Portuguese island of Madeira to Alcochete, near Lisbon. With a lot of hard work, talent and dedication, Ronaldo started climbing the ranks and developed into one of the greatest soccer players of all time.

On September 21, 2020, the academy was renamed to Academia Cristiano Ronaldo in honor of his achievements.

Today we would like announce one of the biggest tryout programs in Europe: a soccer tryout for Academia Cristiano Ronaldo - Sporting Club de Portugal. 

Young soccer players will have the opportunity to receive a professional contract with Sporting CP and live and train at Academia Cristiano Ronaldo. 

The contract includes free accommodations, meals, training, playing for the Sporting CP youth team, and potentially a salary.
