Portugal and Spain are open for US tourists
Portugal, Spain and France are finally open for US citizens for non-essential travel.
According to the U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Portugal, as of June 15, 2021, non-essential travel (i.e. tourism) from the United States to Portugal is permitted. All travelers—except for children under 2 years old—entering Portugal must provide proof of a negative test, such as a PCR test, taken within 72 hours before boarding. Rapid tests are also accepted but must be performed within 24 hours of boarding.
As of June 7, Spain is open to US citizens for non-essential travel as well. Eligible travelers must provide digital proof of vaccination, a negative COVID-19 test or proof that they recently recovered from the virus. For more information, please visit the website of the U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Spain and Andorra here.
