New: Soccer Scouting in Italy 2024 is here!

Italy has a rich culture and passion for soccer, or as it is known in Italy, calcio. With four world cup titles, it boasts one of the most successful national teams in the history of soccer. Many aspiring soccer players travel to the country each year to try their chances at getting a professional soccer contract. In today’s blog post, we will discuss Italy’s soccer system and Sportcamptravel’s newest program, Soccer Scouting in Italy.

Italy has a strong roster of soccer clubs and players alike. Legendary players like Gianluigi Buffon, Luigi Riva and Roberto Baggio all hail from this European nation. The professional leagues are divided into Serie A, Serie B and Serie C, with Serie A being the highest of the three. Serie A includes soccer clubs such as AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus FC. It is the league that all players aspire to be a part of one day.
